Why drink RAW milk?
Unlike pasteurized milk, fresh raw milk contains the enzymes critical for the absorption of minerals like calcium. If you want healthy teeth and bones, you won't get them from drinking pasteurized milk!
Lactose intolerant? You'll be excited to know that most people who are allergic to pasteurized milk, can drink raw milk without any allergic reactions.
How should I handle raw milk?
Always keep your milk chilled. If you have some distance to travel, or stops to make before you arrive home, it's imperative that you keep your milk at refrigerator temperature - treat your raw milk like it's ice cream!
What is A/2-A/2 milk?
There are 2 main types of beta-casein protein in milk, A1 and A2. Ordinary cows’ milk contains both. A2 milk comes from cows that naturally produce only the A2 protein and no A1. Research has shown the A2 protein does not cause digestive discomfort for some people. There are many people who feel uncomfortable after they drink ordinary milk, yet they may be able to enjoy A2 milk without discomfort.

Does freezing damage raw dairy products?
Freezing puts raw milk products to sleep and has little effect on the important health benefits that raw dairy products provide. Enzymes and bacteria are fully active when they awake for thawing. Some vitamins are reduced by trace amounts after being frozen. The flavor is affected slightly by this and is not always apparent. If we have extra raw milk we always freeze it to use for our own consumption later. We use one gallon freezer bag for a 1/2 gallon of milk - this helps to keep the bags flat for stacking in the freezer.
